Способ 1 — встроенный AI Assistant

Если в твоей версии IDE такой раздел есть.

File → Settings (на Windows Ctrl+Alt+S) → Tools → AI Assistant → раздел сторонних моделей / провайдеров. Выбери OpenAI-compatible.
Заполни три поля: Base URL — , API Key — твой ключ (кнопка ниже), Модель — например gpt-5.6-terra. Нажми Test Connection, затем Apply.
В списке моделей впиши вручную ID из каталога моделей: gpt-5.6-terra, claude-sonnet-5. Сохрани — модели появятся в выборе чата.

Названия пунктов немного отличаются между версиями IDE и версиями плагина. Если в твоей версии раздела «OpenAI-compatible» нет или проверка не проходит — используй Continue: он настраивается одинаково везде.

Способ 2 — плагин Continue (проще и надёжнее)

Один файл конфига — работает в Rider, IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm.

File → Settings → Plugins → вкладка Marketplace → в поиске Continue → Install → перезапусти IDE. Справа появится панель Continue.
В панели Continue нажми шестерёнку (Open Config) — откроется файл config.yaml. Замени его содержимое на текст ниже (твой ключ уже внутри):
Сохрани файл (Ctrl+S) — Continue подхватит модели сам. Выбери GPT-5.6 Terra в списке моделей панели и напиши что-нибудь — пришёл ответ, всё работает.

Нужно больше моделей — добавь в список ещё такие же блоки, поменяв name и model (ID — из каталога моделей). Если Continue предложит войти в аккаунт — закрой окно входа: без него всё работает.

Method 1 — the built-in AI Assistant

If your IDE version has this section.

File → Settings (on Windows Ctrl+Alt+S) → Tools → AI Assistant → the third-party models / providers section. Choose OpenAI-compatible.
Fill in three fields: Base URL — , API Key — your key (the button below), Model — for example gpt-5.6-terra. Click Test Connection, then Apply.
In the model list, enter the IDs from the model catalog manually: gpt-5.6-terra, claude-sonnet-5. Save — the models will appear in the chat picker.

Item names differ a little between IDE versions and plugin versions. If your version has no “OpenAI-compatible” section or the check fails — use Continue: it sets up the same way everywhere.

Method 2 — the Continue plugin (simpler and more reliable)

One config file — works in Rider, IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm.

File → Settings → Plugins → the Marketplace tab → search for Continue → Install → restart the IDE. A Continue panel will appear on the right.
In the Continue panel click the gear (Open Config) — the config.yaml file will open. Replace its contents with the text below (your key is already inside):
Save the file (Ctrl+S) — Continue picks up the models itself. Pick GPT-5.6 Terra in the panel's model list and write something — an answer came back, everything works.

Need more models — add more blocks like the ones above, changing name and model (the IDs — from the model catalog). If Continue offers to sign in — close the sign-in window: everything works without it.

Частые ошибки

В моей версии IDE нет раздела «OpenAI-compatible»
Набор настроек AI Assistant различается между версиями IDE. Также вариант «OpenAI-compatible» предлагается в самом окне AI Chat при первом подключении. Если не находится — поставь Continue (способ 2): он одинаково работает во всех IDE JetBrains.
AI Assistant не предлагает сторонних провайдеров
Пока AI Assistant привязан к JetBrains-аккаунту, своего провайдера он не покажет. В Settings → Tools → AI Assistant → Providers & API keys отключи текущий провайдер (Provider → None) или отзови авторизацию — после этого станет доступен OpenAI-compatible.
Test Connection падает
Проверь Base URL: должен быть с /v1 на конце. Ключ — скопирован целиком, без пробелов.
Continue просит войти в аккаунт
Закрой окно входа — без аккаунта Continue работает полноценно, модели берутся из config.yaml.
Continue не видит модели после сохранения
Проверь YAML: отступы в две позиции строго пробелами, блоки моделей начинаются с дефиса. Проще всего заменить весь файл целиком текстом выше.
My IDE version has no “OpenAI-compatible” section
The AI Assistant settings differ between IDE versions. Also, the “OpenAI-compatible” option is offered in the AI Chat window itself on first connection. If you can't find it — install Continue (method 2): it works the same in every JetBrains IDE.
AI Assistant doesn't offer third-party providers
While AI Assistant is tied to a JetBrains account, it won't show your own provider. In Settings → Tools → AI Assistant → Providers & API keys, disable the current provider (Provider → None) or revoke the authorization — after that, OpenAI-compatible becomes available.
Test Connection fails
Check the Base URL: it must end with /v1. The key — copied in full, with no spaces.
Continue asks to sign in
Close the sign-in window — Continue works fully without an account, the models come from config.yaml.
Continue doesn't see the models after saving
Check the YAML: two-space indentation with spaces strictly, and the model blocks start with a hyphen. The simplest fix is to replace the whole file with the text above.

Ограничения и совместимость

The built-in AI Assistant's settings differ between IDE versions — honestly check yours; if the section is missing, that's normal.

Model IDs are entered manually — there is no auto-loading of the list from the server in these tools.

The Continue config with your key sits locally in the user folder — don't paste it into chats and don't commit it to a repository.
